I had written short stories for old Battlestar Galactica fanzines.  I used to enjoy writing scripts, and entered several script writing contests (placing in the top 100 a couple of times). 

Then I discovered KFTLC.  Through that series, I have made many friends (most I have never met in person).  I watched the show because I had been a fan of David Carradine for years, and enjoyed the original Kung Fu series.  Well, who would have known that a Canadian actor named Chris Potter (who I had the pleasure of meeting in 1996 at Chrisfest) would capture my "heart and my soul" and I began submitting my stories to various KFTLC fanzines.  The entire cast of the series gave me such great ideas, and I couldn't stop writing!

I met my dear friend, Lisa Lovewell, through the fan club.  We wrote letters and talked on the phone.  When she suggested doing our own KFTLC fanzine, I jumped at it.  Who could imagine we would publish nine issues of Coming of Age!!  It was an amazing experience.

I stopped writing when life interrupted with its many problems!  When I lost my beloved mother in September of 2021, my world turned upside down, taking me into a terrible 2022.  A few months ago, my good friend Lisa suggested I join a KFTLC group on Facebook.  I don't do Facebook!  But I joined and oh my gosh, I started writing again and I can't stop!!  I found old KFTLC stories that I never finished and have already finished two!!  I find myself writing new stories, also!
